Some tips to look after your canvas prints.
Your giclee canvas prints should last you a very long time but they are quite fragile and you should look after them properly. If you follow the guide below then this will ensure that your digital prints will look as good on the wall for years to come.
1. Avoid direct sunlight, This is the worst thing for a print of any kind. Even though the inks are UV protected - leaving them in direct sunlight for long periods of time will mean your prints will fade.
2. Clean off any dust with a dry cloth, do not use a wet cloth to clean prints at all as this will mean the ink runs and you will most certainly damage your print.
3. Hang your canvas securely. Make sure that it cannot be knocked or brushed by someone walking past. A print falling from the wall to the floor will most certainly result in damage as they ae quite fragile.
4. Only handle your prints with clean hands. Avoid sticky fingers or dirty hands as any marks that occur from handling cannot be easily rremoved.
